What an ironic twist. Luke Bevan's website (which is located at regularcapital.com) launched today had found news from SKY Pacific. They are about to remove Cartoon Network, replacing it with Toonami. Eight other channels will alsobe affected.
I express my solidarity with Fiji TV by making an audio recording of me reading to various SKY Pacific complaints.
Wow, you pretty much read every complaint on Facebook. :D
ReplyDeleteI had to make a correction though, they receive CN Australia not CN SEA, same difference and a easy mistake to make, it's been corrected now.
What? I thought that SKY Pacific had SE Asian feeds!
DeleteI'm now writing for SKY Pacific's Facebook page, because if they don't move to 50 channels quickly, then SKY Pacific is #SKYPathetic.
They do for Nickelodeon etc, but according to Lyngsat they have CN Australia, the last time it was checked was last year. http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/Sky-Pacific.html
ReplyDeleteAlso the fact that Fiji is in line with New Zealand which also receives CN Australia.
ReplyDeleteThey still get two STAR channels (at least for the next 24 hours), and those channels are not available in Australia.
DeleteTo make things more clearer:
DeleteSKY Pacific gets SE Asian versions of various channels and Nickelodeon Australia;
-Sri Lanka gets a few Asian channels, incluiding CN SEA and Toonami SEA, but still receives Pogo;
-Palau gets SE Asian channels due to it's close proximity with the Philippines.
Actually, SKY Pacific got CN SEA, I noticed that they had the 6-7 Cartoonito block in the mornings.
