That's illogical and just downright a downright stupid idea. They do need a website and a schedule and an advertising campain, so that people become more interested in the channel and ask for their cable providers to put the channel. This way, people don't know about the channel and thus the search and interest for it is very low
Like I've said on the recording I've made, it's not even available on larger providers like Startimes or DSTV.
Also, artnerfy has made an improved version of the recording, featuring the NHK Sports Hour (opening theme) and Super Timor files not being played from my speakers as they were this morning.
...and that's why schedules and an advertising campain are needed! If they go without a marketing plan and a schedule, as I've said before, most people wouldn't know about the channel and some wouldn't be interested, thus cable provider's interest in putting in the channel in their line up will be none! If they don't start with a website and an advertising campain soon, this channel's gonna be a flop!
Anyways, it isn't very good that the channel is at the start showing signs of being abandoned. As I said two times before, without a website, schedule and an advertising campain, the interest of this channel will be a static mistake pretty much.
I was exited for this channel too, don't get me wrong, but seems like Turner just wants to be avoided outside of the 'big markets'
AH c'mon dude , it's Africa believe me i live there :P it's a very strange and awkward place where Physic , math , geometry and other laws doesn't apply Africa because F#ck logic :)
The African Turner channels also operate to Cyprus and the Arab World, so it's more likely that those who are lucky to have an OSN subscription will get it soon.
One part of Disney XD Serbia's website still exists! http://disneyxd.disney.rs/programska_shema/
ReplyDeleteBTW Disney XD Turkey's(Disney XD EMEA's website is the turkish one)schedule dosen't work, same with Disney XD NL...
Maybe they're redesigning?
As far as Boing Africa, kinda unprofessional the channel launched with no website, and other stuff, like it doesn't exist!
Probably they want to hide the references to the new channel because they still need more coverage?

I too was excited, but it seems that we have to wait for DISCOP Africa to come.
DeleteWhat's that?
DeleteA film and television event from African companies and non-African companies focusing on the African markets.
