This is the very last blog post of 2014 - we've only got a few minutes left before the start of the new year: 2014.
Once again, have a Happy New Year, which could be good or bad, depending on your perspectives, and we'll see you ni a few minutes with the first post of 2015.

Looks uninspiring? The schedule has the same shows over and over and over again.
Turner made a good decision, they finally shut down a channel with a very repetitive schedule.

About the death of Christine Cavanaugh...

Christine Cavanaugh dies at age 51
I don't want to be serious, but the thing that puzzles me is the fact that it took a long while to learn that she died, and when the cause is unknown it's hard to figure it out.

Russia's law to be adopted at midnight

We're just seven hours of the change in Russian cable laws - this could signal the end of ads on CN RSEE in Russia.
They could follow these rules instead.

Around the World - Episode 6

Features an ad for savecnhq.cf and an in memorian for Christine Cavanaugh.

Cartoonito SEA shuts down today

After over two years on air, today is the very last day of Cartoonito SEA existence.
At 05:00 HK/MAL/SING, the channel will give its way to Boomerang SEA.
The channel was unsuccessful and had a reduced carriage. The channel will try and expand in order to have the coverage area they used to have.

Happy New Year 2015

Like anybody else, I faced the adversities of 2014.
My Christmas break ended with a splash of cold water with the death of Eusébio, the first mediatic death of the year, then Malaysia Airlines loses a plane, I got sick (and I got an extra week of Spring Break, thus giving me some more flexibility on April Fool's Day), then the ESC (or EFC because of Conchia Wurst and the fact that I had to repeatedly tell my mother that it was an alter-ego), then the launch of this new blog, the World Cup, the fact that, according to my mother, our national football team was pretty weak, me finally joining Facebook, then Malaysia Airlines lost another plane, the BES crisis, the Vocaroo issue, Sócrates behind bars, me getting a new camera and now #SaveCNHQ.
It seems that 2015 will start with deceptions: the new Orthographical Agreement and paid bags.
Other than that, it seems that despite this crisis composed of a chain of bad events and the new year starting with deprovals, Happy New Year to the rest of our society and to this blog.

The fog of Courage through DSTV

This is unrelated to The Fog of Courage (the "f" in fog is lower-cased), but it seems that DSTV's Mozambican page has this gem:

You can see Courage under the Trace Toca logo, when, in reality, the last time it aired was in 2012.
Maybe 2015 will bring The Fog of Courage to CN HQ (because CN PT can't dub it for the simple reason that it will take a while to dub the whold thing after all) and this image will make some sense at the very least.
Oh, and by the way, this is also a Vodacom ad, not Vodafone.

Tomorrow morning

I'll make a list of what was available on the CN EMEA December calendars.

BM HQ will NOT rebrand on January 14th

The new Inspector Gadget show, set to premiere on BM HQ on January 14th, will not mark BM HQ's second full-on rebrand.
The schedule will mostly remain the same, the show is just a single addition.

January schedule

Bad news. Very bad news. The Old School block will be sacrificed after a single year on air. That was the year we've lost on completely because of the switch, but only now we started making #SaveCNHQ. Despite of this new schedule, we will most likely see some CN shows move to the rebranded BM HQ, which will most likely happen on January 14th, when the new Inspector Gadget show premieres and also bring the channels back to Portugal after this lenghty hiatus.
WEEKDAYS:
04:00 - Ben 10: Omniverse
04:45 - The Amazing World of Gumball
05:35 - Johnny Test
05:45 - Clarence
06:00 - Adventure Time
08:05 - Total Drama: Pahkitew Island
08:30 - Regular Show
09:20 - Adventure Time
10:10 - The Amazing World of Gumball
11:00 - Johnny Test
11:50 - Teen Titans GO!
12:40 - Ben 10: Omniverse
13:30 - Steven Universe
13:55 - Uncle Grandpa
14:20 - The Amazing World of Gumball
14:45 - Regular Show
15:10 - Johnny Test
15:20 - Adventure Time
16:00 - The Amazing World of Gumball
16:25 - Regular Show
17:15 - Adventure Time
18:55 - Ben 10
2014 came and went quickly. A single year, impatiently waiting for the triumphant and miraculous return of CN HQ eventually ends with the channel itself wasting an opportunity for Portuguese people to rediscover shows like Cow and Chicken or The Powerpuff Girls to their viewers. On the weekday schedule, there's not a single Cartoon Cartoon in sight.
WEEKENDS:
04:00 - Ed, Edd n Eddy
04:25 - Batman: The Brave and the Bold
05:15 - Teen Titans GO!
06:05 - Ben 10: Omniverse
07:00 - Incredible Crew
07:20 - Clarence
07:45 - The Amazing World of Gumball
08:10 - Uncle Grandpa
08:35 - Adventure Time
09:00 - Regular Show
09:25 - Johnny Test
09:50 - Grojband
10:40 - Total Drama: World Tour
11:05 - Adventure Time
11:30 - Teen Titans GO!
12:25 - Ben 10
13:10 - The Amazing World of Gumball
14:00 - Regular Show
14:50 - Clarence
15:15 - Incredible Crew
15:40 - Ben 10: Omniverse
16:30 - The Amazing World of Gumball
17:20 - Adventure Time
18:10 - Total Drama: Revenge of the Island
19:00 - Regular Show
The weekend schedule also shows some signs of "let's drop a lot of those classic shows from the last generation because our generation's shows are better than yours" but Ed, Edd n Eddy, at 04:00 in the bloody morning, is the only Cartoon Cartoon on the schedule.
Still, if you want to watch my favorite CC, don't wake up early and just record it.
OVERNIGHT:
19:45 - Johnny Test
20:30 - Batman: The Brave and the Bold
21:10 - Regular Show
21:50 - Teen Titans GO!
22:40 - Grojband
23:25 - Total Drama: World Tour
23:45 - Regular Show
00:30 - Johnny Test
01:15 - Batman: The Brave and the Bold
02:00 - Teen Titans GO!
02:45 - Grojband
03:05 - Total Drama: World Tour
03:30 - Adventure Time
Ah, the dreaded, never-before seen overnight schedule. If Portugal had CN HQ 24/7 a dozen of years ago then I could watch some classic shows that I could only watch a few years later. It's basically a repetitive salad of third-party shows with some originals mixed in for good measure.
Plus, for the first time in 15 years, the overnight schedule no longer starts on the hour. It now runs for 8 1/4 hours, probably an influence from other kids channels.
So in conclusion: 2015 begins with a huge splash of cold water on our faces. It seems that it repeats a pattern innaugurated in 2012: good schedule in 2012, bad schedule in 2013, good schedule in 2014, bad schedule in 2015. Let's hope that Turner will avert this situation and will improve the schedule in February.

Still waiting for #SaveCNHQ to get media coverage

As soon as they find out about our initiative we'll get more recognition.

And another thing

In the days leading to CN HQ's return: #CNHQWillRiseAgain.

I haven't finished contributing for the main parts yet

Plus I need to see if there is a viable place for making an ad for #SaveCNHQ.

The #SaveCNHQ website is now live

The website, located at savecnhq.cf, has just opened. I'll contribute with content to the site and e-mails I've sent to Turner.
Please check out as the site adds content.

#SaveCNHQ has been officially greenlit

I'm not alone! RegularTaxi is making a website for it (savecnhq.cf).
This will be very similar to #SalvarDisneyCinemagic, except that we will try and see if CN HQ, BM HQ and TCM HQ return.
Oh, and DCM ES will actually close.

Once again

The Toonzone forums are down because they're updating.
Some forums have notices which tell us that there are several forums that tell us that they will be under maintenance but Toonzone never prematurely announces us or knows when will it start and end.

#SaveCNHQ starts here

I just want to make a social media protest called #SaveCNHQ, in the vein of #SalvarDisneyCinemagic.
And for that I need more people. My previous attempts at making petitions didn't work and were unsuccessful.
More about that in the following days.

KidsHelpOut - ten years on

Today marks the tenth anniversary of the Indian Ocean tsunami - a time where Portuguese television talked about it all the time - featuring footage from Indonesian channels, and recently I've seen footage from ITN Sri Lanka - which I didn't note at the time - turning paradise in hell in less than one minute.
An event that was larger in scale than the one in Japan three years ago - I quickly switched to NHK World that night.

Cartoon Network wanted to join it. The result was the creation of KidsHelpOut.org, which gave me my first contact with Give a Little Bit, the song that was playing on the ads for it. Here's one of the versions:
That was the only time CN HQ aired a campaign like that - no bullying or fitness movements from the States appeared.
Towards the end we could see Wonder Woman from Justice League Unlimited (which never aired on CN HQ and in turn never aired in English, but it did air on RTP 2 and now on Biggs), Starfire from Teen Titans (which only premiered in the end of 2006 on RTP 2 - and the new show premiered without even airing the fifth season of the original) and (most likely) Ami and Yumi's animated forms which only premiered in May in our coutnry.
CN HQ aired scenes from DC animated series that never aired - there was a CN HQ bumper based on a British one that had scenes from Mucha Lucha on it.

Johnny Test marathon on CN USA tomorrow

It seems that the marathon will have several new episodes, someone can at least guess them by watching.

CARTOON NETWORK USA - Schedule for December 25th, 2014

06:00 - Teen Titans GO!
07:00 - Pokémon
07:30 - Johnny Test (?!)
17:30 - Uncle Grandpa
18:00 - Teen Titans GO!
18:30 - Clarence
18:45 - Steven Universe
19:00 - Adventure Time
19:30 - Regular Show

Tomorrow morning on CN HQ

Christmas specials! And also on BM HQ throught most of the day.
Not sure about TCM, though.

Muted CN

While looking at the JSON files for CN PH's schedule this Christmas Day, I noticed that the name of the CTCD episode Muted Muriel appeared as "Muriel Ted". Perhaps an allusion to the title card?
Most likely, as whoever wrote the episode titles to put on the descriptions probably did not understand the stylization.

Tooncast: All Toons, All The Time! (not)

(info from TZ user Mariana)
It's 14:29 at the time I started writing this post, 12:29 in southern and south-eastern Brazil. For the first time in six years - you've heard it from me: six years - Tooncast has broken their promise as seen on the channel's slogan.
The promise has been broken with the airing of a 1983 movie called A Christmas Story. For those who don't have any idea (like myself) of what I'm talking about, here's the plot:
The main character, Ralphie, wanted a rifle for Christmas. His desire is rejected by his mother, teacher and a mall Santa all of them with the same answer: "you'll shoot your eye out".
We skip to the end and see that he gets the rifle. This movie has no moral behind, but the rejections are the moral: guns are not a gift. They are dangerous.
The movie is a comedy but Tooncast's decision to air the movie, in my opinion, is a comedy. On the Toonzone forums, she said that Turner disappointed her and that the movie should air on TCM.
EDIT: 14:49 - Checking a Brazilian website to see the channel's schedule led me to a half-hour showing at 13:30 (when it will be 15:30 over here), perhaps it's the H-B version? I'm awaiting for a concise answer.
EDIT: 15:32 - Mariana said that she found the information on the Turner Tapkit and that the schedules were giving the description for the live-action movie. Photo proof:

EDIT: 15:36 - So it was the HB movie after all? It seems that Turner sent the wrong schedule to TV providers and the Turner Tapkit and this was a misunderstanding because it has the same title.
Technically this misunderstanding is a comedy.

A Very Random Christmas

Yesterday night I posted the Christmas Eve schedules for various CNs, incluiding CN PH. I posted CN SEA this morning.
While making the CN SEA schedule, I noticed that the feed had a distinct lack of variety compared to CN PH's version: not only it lasts longer but it also has classic Christmas specials like the EEnE episode "Fa-La-La-La-Ed" or the episode where Johnny Bravo takes the role of Santa.
In SE Asia, CN PH had a better version of A Very Random Christmas, while CN SEA had just a movie and a marathon.

Why did I post CN USA's Christmas Eve schedule?

I was inspired by someone on the Toonzone forums by talking about Christmas Day and the Johnny Test marathon, so I decided to post it on the blog.

Tomorrow

CN USA's Christmas Day schedule
and something to fill the time

We still want to see the PPG and JB Christmas specials

Why did they remove CN HQ just in time for Christmas last year? We were on Turner's naughty list, that's for sure.

Something worth acknowledging, or not

CN HQ aired only the first pair of episodes from season 3 of The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack.
They did not air the rest, but CN RSEE did.

CARTOON NETWORK USA - Schedule for December 24th, 2014

06:00 - Teen Titans GO!
07:00 - Pokémon
07:30 - The Amazing World of Gumball
07:45 - Teen Titans GO!
08:00 - Uncle Grandpa
08:30 - Scooby-Doo: Haunted Holidays
09:00 - Tom and Jerry: A Nutcracker Tale
10:00 - Naughty List
11:00 - Smurfs: A Christmas Carol
11:30 - Regular Show
12:15 - Adventure Time
13:00 - Regular Show
13:30 - Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer
14:30 - Johnny Tset
15:30 - The Looney Tunes Show
16:00 - Tom and Jerry: Santa's Little Helpers
16:30 - Smurfs: A Christmas Carol
17:00 - Regular Show
17:45 - Adventure Time
18:00 - The Amazing World of Gumball
18:15 - Teen Titans GO!
18:30 - Uncle Grandpa
19:00 - Adventure Time
19:30 - Regular Show

Around the World - Episode 5

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!!!

Monday, December 22, 2014

600th Post!

Just to let you know, tomorrow morning there will be a new edition of Around the World.
CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!

Wait...

BM HQ will care about Christmas with the TGS (The Garfield Show, not Teen Girl Squad) Christmas special at 07:45 on Christmas day.
EDIT: Turns out that it's a morning of Christmas-and-Winter-themed episodes.

Double slot notions removed on DSTV's website

It seems that DSTV's website has removed the notions of double slots for short, RS-length episode segments, that was only a temporary thing.

Johnny Test marathon on CN USA next Thursday

CN USA will have a Johnny Test marathon next Thursday between 07:30 and 15:30, Eastern and Pacific. It's worser than CN PT's attempt which is a little worser than CN HQ's.

TCM in the morning

Happened in 2003 (or 2004):
I was watching TCM... in the morning! I think that TCM was about to hand over to CN later on in the day.

TCM: My How You Have Changed

TCM HQ's evening schedule now starts at 19:00 and ends at 04:00.
CN HQ's daytime schedule starts at 04:00 and ends at 20:00.
So technically here's another proof of "timesharing is over". We still want both channels back.

New Year's Day special

On New Year's Day, CN HQ will air a few Ben 10 movies. On BM HQ, various versions of Tom and Jerry over the course of 17 1/2 hours.
And by "various versions" I mean the theatricals, Tales and Show. This is a modernized version of the classic tradition of showing every single Tom and Jerry short on New Year's Day, a tradition initiated in the times of the mono-European CN.

BM HQ doesn't care about Christmas

Last weekend they aired a Looney Tunes marathon.
That's not particularly Christmassy, but there you go.

Sales!

Recently CN HQ's Facebook page has been promoting a sale on their mobile games.

Christmas is here

Let me admit: 2014 wasn't the best year for this.
I've spent a full year without CN HQ and I feel a bit shocked.
I had my ups and downs, countless tries to bring CN HQ back and also a petition, which led to the creation of an antipage.
I quickly stopped caring about CN PT. And I did. Awful dubs which remind me of the bad things, badly-made breaks and also a channel that still after an entire year on air, it continues being a despairfest.
This Christmas is also a time to reflect on CN HQ (if you're a fan of CN HQ more than CN PT), and on the bad things Portuguese television has been doing over the course of this year.
Merry Christmas and have an exciting 2015 - where the return of CN HQ is viable.

Friday, December 19, 2014

Petitions don't work

I will try and bring CN HQ ack not with the help and support of petitioning websites, but using social networks instead.
This petition will start with me being the single member, but I can try and find more people, and then this will work.

All about Darwin

Before proceeding with the post, I'd like to say that said post was originally posted on RM Ent.'s official blog on July 1st, 2014. In September 2012 I did something similar on a blog I had (in Portuguese) that had a few viewers apart from myself.
---
Get ready for a long post, because it will explain more about Darwin the Merman and his origins.
The year is 2011. I recovered from my "I hate Cartoon Network" symptoms and the schedule was improving. I was the channel's biggesat fan (but I didn't talk too much to friends about that) and I had the following in my mind:  if there are cartoons where the main character is a mermaid, why not make one where the main character is a merman?
Anyway, Darwin the Merman was born from a dream I had before waking up on the morning of November 1st, 2011. That dream had nothing to do with what would be Darwin.
I was leaving my school and I noticed that there was a weird arcade nearby. I entered and turns out that it was purple and had some cabinets and some weird stairs. I got up those stairs and I went to someone else's house in turn. I had to rest in a bed.
That morning, and without any relationship to the dream, I imagined myself. As a merman. Named Darwin. Living with a younger brother. And a merman from Flapjack.
And then I started thinking on what would the show be like. I already had an idea for the theme song:
A full minute of a theme song would work for a CN song, but that would actually be shortened becuase of their policies to shorten up their theme songs.
Initially, Darwin was supposed to have a look inspired by Flapjack if he was a merman (as the final episode, Fish Out Of Water, clearly evidences), but then I changed it to a different look with a square nose.
In late December, someone on Deviantart under the name of kmy1205 posted what could end up being the best design for Darwin. I picked up a humanization of Flounder ar a merman. Let me explain: he has blue and yellow hair, his head was round, he was wearing a yellow shirt (which my design refuses) and his tail was blueish-gray with the tip being blue and yellow. Days later, I went to cut my hair and when they put hair gel on me, I felt like I was Darwin because I had the idea that his "hair aroma" was just like some hair gel they put on me. Darwin the Merman's popularity grew from mental level to personal level.
I started to think on his sister. I thought on a red and yellow color scheme on her hair, seashell bra (half-red and half-yellow) and her tail, with a significant part of it being peach colored. Initially her name was supposed to be Eivlys, because of this:
Eivlys. Yes, Eivlys. Star of a poorly animated music video that aired only and exclusively on our Nickelodeon during commercial breaks. This was originally intender to be her theme. It was dropped, for no aparent reason whatsoever.
Anyway, Darwin needed someone stronger. An older brother. I called him Kevin because of the character on the various Ben 10 shows.
Not too long before Darwin's older brother was created, I had to use chats to express my ideas twice. Considering that I already recorded with Vocaroo, I decided to use Chatfoo considering that it was being advertised on Vocaroo for some time. Only recently I knew that Chatfoo closed. If you tpye "Chatfoo" on  Google, you'll see my two chats. That was one of the best days of my life with my fake cartoon.
I started to pick the best design for Darwin: the aforementioned drawing of what would Flounder look like as a merman posted by kmy1205. I imagined him without any shirt.
I expanded my expressions on the awful blogs I had in 2012: that fall, I posted a lot of what remained of that wonderful artwork: now it existed in smaller sizes. I started to give ideas for more characters. I also renamed Eivlys to Bea, because Eivlys wasn't a good choice.
I joined Toonzone in late December 2012 and slowly wanted to give Darwin some "focus" on some forums nobody wants to read. In late May/early June, I published a partial script, but no one answered me.
But anyway, Darwin the Merman was inspired (in a way) by Fish Hooks, and it probably served as a demented idea that will come true one day.

Afterwards, I came up with more concepts like a mermaid called Darwinia which seems to be a mirror of Darwin as if he was genderbent, which had a brief moment of popularity as a Toonzone April Fool's Day prank (the previous year had "Love?/Three Crossovers"), the king is King Triton (which I'll draw today or tomorrow, he is partly based on the mermen from Flapjack), yet it looks like thirteen different countries, Triton is in Atlantis and Darwin and his friends live in Darwinia, which has a different king, the occasional specials where everybody is on land and it turns out that they were dreaming by the end of the episode, similar to a Fish Hooks episode where they all go human, and the concept that the show is popular in an alternate dimension.
Graphilm retweeted my ideas which annoyed me slightly and if they make it instead of CN, then the show will become a cheap European production.

Happy second day of Low Tidings

I have to post this two more times!

Around the World - Episode 4

A quick edition this time

About #SalvarDisneyCinemagic

In the past few days, with the announcement of the end of the Spanish version of Disney Cinemagic, RegularCapital came up with #SalvarDisneyCinemagic (or #ToSaveDisneyCinemagic) with Arthur Claus. Readers, it's important to know that we haven't had the channel for two years now and there was no petition like that and the channel closed down for sure.
If only I joined the social networks earlier and made a campaign called #SaveCNHQ. Too late, no return...
Around the World 4 is next.

Happy First (of four days) Day of Low Tidings! (it seems)

OK, so in my take of merpeople they celebrate Low Tidings for four days, between the 15th and the 18th of December. This is most likely not the first time I share my view on it publicly.
Anyway, Darwin the Merman-related stuff is coming here tomorrow.

All About TV6

Now that CNN will be banned from Russia (unknown if it will be banned definetly), I'd like to talk a bit about a Russian channel that was founded by the man behind Turner.

TV6's history is much older than you think - in the age of communism it was used as the technical channel of Soviet Central Television. Notable broadcasts included the Moscow Olympics in 1980, and during the age of Perestroika later on in the 80s, tennis matches.
Once the Soviet Union was finished in 1991, the six channels had different lives: the first channel now belonged to Ostankino, the second channel to the VGTRK, the third channel to 2X2/MTK and now TV Centr (with 2X2 reviving in 2007), the fourth channel to Ostankino and then to NTV, the fifth channel still under the control of St. Petersburg and the sixth channel was given to TV6 and Northern Crown.
The channel was created by Eduard Sagalajev and Ted Turner, with some help from the VID production company, creators of the Russian version of Wheel of Fortune and Wait For Me, who came to produce some shows for the channel. The company that controlled TV6 was created by three men: Eduard Sagalajev, Oleg Orlov (who was in charge of the local media at the time) and Nugzar Paphadze (former secretary of the Georgian Communist Party). They contributed to 51% of the channel's intellectual property and the remaining 51% in cash was sent to Ted Turner.
VID also participated as well, and, like I said before, produced some of the channel's shows. In August 1991, the Moscow Independent Broadcasting Company was established, whose shareholders included the government of Moscow, LogoVAZ, Mosbuisnessbank, Lukoil and Mosfilm.

The channel officially launched on January 1st, 1993. The channel's schedule included cartoons, movies and CNN programming with simultaneous translation. On February 22nd, Northern Crown launched as an educational documentary channel. Due to lack of funding, Northern Crown ceased broadcasting in the fall of 1994 and TV6 had stopped timesharing. In April 1994, TV6 expanded outside of Moscow and started broadcasting nationwide (with some exceptions). New shows included "Kinescope" and "POSTmusical News".

The channel's first major rebrand occured on January 1st, 1995. In March 1996, TV6 established their very own news team.
The channel closed in 2002, being replaced by TVS, which also closed down due to low ratings.

Next Around the World: Wednesday morning

Probably by then I'll be cured from the illnesses mentioned tonight.

And now a joke which goes too far

They grow up so fat.
In the Portuguese version, Richard says something awful. Can't recall right now.

Around the World - Episode 3

Every day, I listen to my heart,
I'm not alone, deep within hour hearts we're connected

NEXT

Episode 3 of Around the World.
For shows like these, there's no excuse.

Your Shout: The Future of Cartoonito and 91kt

The game is almost up for Cartoonito.
Cartoonito Asia will be replaced by Boomerang on January 1st, over two years after the channel's closure. This puts another "end" in Cartoonito's contribulated history, to which the future of Cartoonito is in game.
91kt hasn't been updated in ages, so the future of it is in game as well.
Discuss here about the future of these two brands.

Ignoring Christmas Eve

For the first time since 2011, CN HQ is not caring about Christmas.
That is until I checked closer on OSN's website.
They just want to show Christmas specials on Christmas Day. "We" will get Cartoon Cartoon-based Christmas specials and some AT episodes (read the previous post).
Boomerang won't have a Christmas special at all. I think that they are preparing for the upcoming rebrand.

Finn and Jake's Travel Guide

TOO LATE
CN HQ is premiering Finn and Jake's Travel Guide six months after they were supposed to premiere it. CN PT got it in June, but CN HQ came in too late.
Perhaps they are doing this and saving all the Christmas specials for Christmas Eve and Day.

Your Shout: Local Anglophone channels

I know this is partially related to Cartoon Network but TV providers are suffering from Anglophobia, in the context that they want fewer and fewer channels in English without Portuguese dubbing or subtitles.
Would an English-speaking terrestrial network in Portugal work? Or at the very least a channel in the Engligh language reach the top 10? Or increaing the saturated number of Anglophone channels in our country? Or all of the three options at the same time? Please ask in the comments if any of these ideas is viable or not.

England

Some people believe that CN HQ broadcasts to England, or the entirety of the UK for those who can't distinguish it from the other British nations.
Now recently I was at school and I felt like talking about CN HQ while one of my classmates said:
"Get an English satellite dish".
Unfortunately CN HQ doesn't broadcast to the UK, and I can't do something like that.

Around the World 3: this week

I'll do it sometime this week, this time without music that can put you into hysterics.

Issue solved

Sorry for communicating this with a delay but it seems that the issue known as RegularGate was solved, the owner of RegularCapital.com was in hysterics when listening to the second edition of Around the World, don't know why. Aqua, maybe?

If I had a TV channel called Aqua this should be the logo
Anyway, links to my blog were restored on RegularCapital and RegularTaxi, so this is in the style of those carriage issues that are solved after a very brief period of time.
This hasn't affected RegularTweetsUK, yet it still offers links to CN HQ's official Facebook page since last Saturday.

Four years of CHECK it.

Yesterday morning marked the fourth anniversary of CN HQ's adoption of the first version of the CHECK it. look, I remember that day, I woke up before going to school and noticed that they changed the logo and the bug. The first thing I remember watching with the new logo was an EEnE short where they try to escape school.

Around the World - Episode 2

Highlights to the new look on BM CEE and the RegularGate.
I did this in the best circumstances possible

Around the World tonight

This time we'll cover the Regular Taxi/RegularCapital issue.

Changes

So it seems that owing to the issues with my side project, RegularTaxi, which is NOT a blatant rip-off of RegularCapital.com, links to this very blog have been removed.
He replaced them with links to CN HQ's Facebook page instead.
I still haven't done content exchange, like I said on August 1st, when the blog launched.

New CN blog from TZ user artnerfy

I am about to contribute on a blog called RegularTaxi. Think Regular Show mixed in with RebelTaxi with elements from RegularCapital.com taken in for good measure.
You can see the test site on the link here: regulartaxi.cf. Still in test mode.

CN+

Tata Sky in India recently launched an interactive service called CN+.
It is listed on their official website, yet I don't have more information on it.

I'd like to thank every Nigerian visitor who has checked my blog - if you have Cartoon Network and live in Nigeria and also like the schedule, drop a line in the comments!

Boomerang rebrand date confirmed

(information from RNDH1987's blog about BM CEE)

Aaaah~! It's happening! BM CEE's rebrand has been confirmed and it will happen on February 2nd!
He has the schedules and they will be posted on his blog later in the evening.
What's been confirmed: almost every classic: Gone! Nothing!
What's been unconfirmed: CN shows
I hope that BM HQ will have a better schedule and treat the classics better, add CN shows to the mix and launch Tooncast as well.
Nothing can make me stop this day! Except for... uh...
...the Sinhala Top Cat theme song by Titus Thotawatte.

One year ago today

CN HQ disappeared.
CN HQ disappeared without giving us the AT and PPG Christmas specials.
CN HQ disappeared leaving us with no choice to learn English.
CN HQ disappeared and we are now further back with the shows.
CN HQ disappeared and we get the awful CN PT instead.
Hard to believe...
...that it's bene a full year...
...and I still feel depressed.

Tomorrow marks the first anniversary of CN HQ's departure from Portugal.
It's been one year, my friends. One year.

And it wouldn't be Christmas without you, can't foll me I know it's true, Merry Christmas, merry la la la la...

Christmas so commercialized. It makes me sick.
Let's save CN HQ this Christmas!
IF IT'S NOT PUKKA IT'S NOT PIE!
pukka pies
E-mail later tonight.
